Crystal Singing Bowl Training

Private Sound Bath Training & Mentorship

This private crystal singing bowl training is designed for students who want to begin developing the foundational skills necessary to confidently explore sound healing and sound bath facilitation.

The initial training consists of five hours of one-on-one instruction. For some students, this may be spread across five individual sessions. Others may prefer longer intensive formats. Every student learns differently, and the structure can be adapted accordingly.

The goal of the first five hours is not mastery.

The goal is to give students a strong enough foundation that they can begin practicing, experimenting, listening more deeply, and continuing to develop their own relationship with sound.

Some students may continue into advanced mentorship, while others may simply want a solid introduction and direction for personal practice.

There is no fixed endpoint. Training can continue as long as a student wishes to deepen their skills.

Continued Study & Advanced Training

For students who wish to continue beyond the initial training, ongoing mentorship and advanced study are available.

Advanced topics may include:

  • Advanced harmonic layering

  • Emotional arc and session composition

  • Working with low-frequency bowls and larger instruments

  • Integrating gongs, chimes, drums, shruti box, and other sound tools

  • Creating longer-form immersive sound experiences

  • Developing practitioner intuition and sensitivity

  • Refining pacing and nervous-system regulation techniques

  • Understanding energetic buildup and release

  • Working with silence intentionally

  • Advanced transition techniques

  • Building coherent sound bath journeys

  • Playing for groups vs. private clients

  • Voice integration and guided meditation

  • Developing personal style and artistic identity

  • Live facilitation skills and room awareness

  • Sound bath sequencing and thematic design

For more experienced practitioners, advanced sessions can also function as refinement work — helping practitioners evolve beyond repetitive patterns, develop greater intentionality, and bring new depth, spaciousness, and creativity into their sound baths.

The long-term goal is not simply to “play bowls,” but to learn how to create immersive sound environments that feel grounded, intentional, emotionally coherent, and deeply restorative.

What We Work On During the Initial Five Hours

Topics may include:

  • Crystal singing bowl setup and care

  • Striking and singing techniques

  • Producing stable, clean tone

  • Bowl pacing and transitions

  • Listening and awareness exercises

  • Understanding resonance and overtones

  • Basic harmonic relationships and intervals

  • Layering bowls intentionally

  • Creating emotional atmosphere through sound

  • Understanding density, spaciousness, and silence

  • Basic sound bath structure and flow

  • Nervous-system awareness and pacing

Each student moves at a different pace.

Some students may naturally connect with technique very quickly but need more help structuring sessions. Others may feel deeply intuitive with pacing and emotional atmosphere but require more technical refinement.

Training Session FAQs

  • We offer:

    • Private Sound Baths

    • Private Yoga

    • Hypnotherapy

Each session has a distinct structure, but sound therapy is the foundation of all our work. Whether you are moving, resting, or working with imagery and focus, sound is always present to support regulation, awareness, and depth.

  • Private Sound Baths may include a wide range of instruments, such as:

    • Crystal singing bowls

    • Brass bowls

    • Gongs

    • Chimes

    • Rain towers

    • Drums

    • Other resonant instruments

The practitioner selects instruments after a conversation with you, based on your goals, energy, and what would best support the session.

No two sound baths are the same.

  • Private sessions are fully individualized. They allow for:

    • Personalized pacing and structure

    • More time to settle the nervous system

    • Deeper experiential work

    • Space for conversation and integration

They are ideal if you want focused attention or a more immersive experience than a group class allows.

  • Yes. Sound is central to everything we do.
It is used to help the body relax, focus the mind, and integrate the work, whether the session is movement-based, restorative, or hypnotherapy-focused.

  • Private Yoga sessions combine movement, breath, and live sound.

    Sessions may include:

    • Gentle or more active postures, depending on your needs

    • Floor-based or standing movement

    • Sound woven into both movement and rest

    • Emphasis on awareness rather than performance

These sessions are not fitness-driven. They are designed to support listening, regulation, and embodiment.

  • Hypnotherapy sessions are one-on-one only.

    Each session includes:

    • Conversation and intention-setting

    • Guided relaxation and imagery

    • Live sound to support focus and receptivity

    • Time at the end for integration

While hypnotherapy cannot be scheduled for more than one person, general hypnotherapy principles can be incorporated into group events by request.

  • Private Sound Baths and some Private Yoga sessions may be booked for two or more people. These are well-suited for partners, friends, or small groups.

    Hypnotherapy sessions are always one-on-one.

  • Frequency is less about rules and more about how deep you want to go.

    Some clients:

    • Take three private yoga sessions per week

    • Book weekly hypnotherapy

    • Schedule weekly private sound baths

    • Space sessions out over longer intervals

With experience and regular practice, many people are able to drop into relaxation and deeper work much more quickly. Your practitioner can help you determine a rhythm that supports your goals.
